Arsenal New Away Kit Revealed
After speculation and leaks, Arsenal have unveiled their new away kit. The kit is “midnight-blue” with a pin stripe effect and polo collar, said to be worn by Arsenal’s all conquering 1930s teams (lets hop this inspires this team).
The Arsenal website states that the design celebrates “the sartorial excellence of the Club’s London birthplace,” whatever that may mean!
The kit has been designed with Arsenal tradition all over the place, the collar has a label that reads Arsenal, whilst sewn into the side seam is a small blue label featuring two Arsenal canons either side of the club motto, ‘Victoria Concordia Crescit.’
The midnight blue shorts, have a blue stripe along the side with white canon stitched in to the back of the shorts on the waist-band and midnight blue socks with a photo blue stripe on the top band and Arsenal printed on the calf.
The blue kit looks very smart and elegant, no doubt it will sell in the thousands and next season we will see the Emirates turn blue, my only reservation with this away kit as with all away kits that we have launched in recent years is that they only last one season. Next sumer the blue kit will consigned to the dreaded thrid kit and a new one will be launched
