Eduardo is Back

Eduardo made his long awaited return to first team football when he came on as a 61st minute substitute for Croatia against Romania. Eduardo marked his return to top-level soccer after a year-long absence by setting up Niko Kranjcar’s winner that secured a 2-1 victory over Romania in their friendly on Wednesday.

It is not often that Arsenal fans wait in anticipation for international week, but this was one game we had marked in our diaries.  It means that Eduardo is one step closer to a first-team recall to the Arsenal team, that day will be Monday.  Eduardo should start against Cardiff partnering van Persie.

Eduardo is a real sharpshooter, scoring 12 goals in 22 starts last season.
