Walcott Back Soon

Theo Walcott expects to be back in action for Arsenal by the end of the month. Walcott was injured whilst on international duty, he damaged his shoulder.  The injury could not have come at a worse time for Theo, he was in top form for both Arsenal and England, he had lost his inhibitions and  was running and tormenting defenders at will.  He was playing a regular and key role for Arsenal and started to contribute with both goals and assists.

“I am nearly there, and hopefully will be back by the end of this month,” Walcott said in a webchat on http://www.arsenal.com.

“I am doing a lot of rehab work now with the shoulder, landing on it, and also in the gym with a lot of weights to build the muscle strength back.”

The England winger continued: “I just feel it will be when I am ready. Obviously I do not want to do it again, so I have got to be 100% fit.”

Arsenal have sorely missed the fast winger and his return will be met with loud cheers all around the Emirates. He will add the proverbial, extra-dimension to our team and help us march onwards to silverware and Champions League qualification.
