Fabregas Back for Roma Clash
Cesc Fabregas, our inspirational captain limped off the field injured against Liverpool in December. All our worse fears were confirmed when it was announced that he would be out until April.
This was a major blow to Arsenal, Cesc was our creator and without him we have suffered in the creativity department.
Cesc claimed he was recovering quickly, but Arsene dimissed this a player who was desperate to return to first team action. Now his Spanish doctor Ramon Cugat believes he could be back in action within three weeks.
When asked if the Arsenal player could be ready to play against Roma on February 24, Cugat said,”I think so. The Arsenal doctors said it normally takes three-and-a-half months to recover because of the way it happened.
“But I believe he will return quicker than then. I recognise that the player needs to be ready, to have good mobility and stability and that he needs to feel good after returning to training.
“The one that will know best is the player. I saw him last week.
“He passed the tests, there had been a clear improvement and that he was expecting to make a speedy recovery.
“What is even better is that he could recover more quickly than is considered normal, which is very good.”
If this is true, this is absolutely great news to get our captain and inspiration back three weeks would be a tremendous boost to the club.
