Arsenal on Your PSP

Arsenal and PlayStation are forming a partnership to develop what is being hailed as a ‘landmark in broadcast technology’.

Gooners will be able to use their PSP at the Emirates Stadium in order to view streaming coverage, highlights, replays and statistics in real time.

PSP owners will have to purchase a special disc and will then receive coverage via a wireless signal, which will be transmitted within the stadium only.

Reportedly, information will be stored on the hand-held device beyond match time.

Sony director Eric Siereveld has described it as a “whole new dimension” for match coverage.

Another innovative idea from a go-ahead club, it will only be a matter of time before Chelsea, Liverpool and Manchester United jump on our bandwagon.

This follows Arsenal’s launch of a Japanese version of their website, to compliment the Chinese, Korean and Thai versions that we already have.
