Wilshere, Ramsey – Not Good Enough

Let’s not kid ourselves with all this talk of the brilliant set of youngsters at the club, the man who matters most, Wenger does not trust them, look at Ramsey, Wilshere, Vela, Gibbs and Randall all consigned to the bench week in week out whislt we have a have a midfield that is inept and lacks creativity.

Last Saturday with a natural winger on the bench and another, who is more than adequate to play in that role, Wenger sent on Eboue to play out of position and to completely embarrass himself.

Yesterday, Denilson was allowed to complete yet another game on the wing a position in which he shows no ability, he lacks pace, dribbling skills, creativity or crossing ability, yet we persist with him on the wing.
Of Alex Song, Wenger said last season “Trust me, if I make a decision it is because I know all the characteristics of the player whether they are physical or mental characteristics,” he said.
“When I put a player somewhere, I know why I do. If I play Song at centre back it is because I believe he will be a great centre back for Arsenal Football Club.
“In Song’s case, he can play in central midfield. But can he play 60 games there? I am not convinced.”
By his own admission, Song is not a great central midfielder, yet we persist in playing people out of position.
So whilst these players play out of position and struggle, we have Ramsey and Wilshere waiting for a chance, other teams are starting to give their youngsters more playing time than we are, it is about time Wenger trusted these boys who will give him 100%, both are creative and both will more to the team than Song and Denilson in midfield
