New Chief Executive – a Postive Move

Arsenal have announced the appointment of Ivan Gazidis as their new chief executive. Gazidis will start work in January. The club have taken a long time in appointing a successor to the Edelman and Dein, but they seem to have go for the very best.

Gazidis spent 14 years running the MLS, you do not survive that long in America if you are not doing well. Gazidis knows about football and coming from the USA will be commercially astute. The learning curve should be short, and appointing him now means that come the summer he will have bedded in well and help Arsenal off the field.

A good move from the board.
