Champions League Preview

Champions League will be a welcome relief for all Gooners tonight.  A victory will see jus progress through to the next round, anything else and we have an awkward game against Porto.

Matters are not helped by the ever increasing in jury list.  Though Gallas returns from his misdemeanour and Fabregas is back after domestic suspension to lead the team,  Diaby and Nasri are missing tonight. This means that we have no first team recognised or in the case of Eboue and Diaby enforced wingers.

With so many players out, Wenger has another chance, wasted at Manchester,  to see if Ramsey can play in central midfield, a great opportunity to play Vela instead of the hapless Bendtner and we have Wilshire and Merida  champing at the bit for a first team start. Instead, Djourou will play at right-back, Denilson and Ramsey on the wing, whilst Song is given another chance at central midfield and Bendtner will be drinking at he last chance saloon yet again.

The youngster will have to wait yet again whilst players are played out of position.
