Rosicky & Eduardo on Their Way Back
Tomas Rosicky has undergone another operation on his trouble leg, the club announced on Tuesday.
Wenger is optimistic after this operation, saying that fans should see Rosicky back within a couple of months.
Wenger said: “The situation looks very positive. They have taken a lot of scar tissue out of his leg and the vibes I got from the surgeon were very positive. I think he could return between six to eight weeks.”
Wenger will gamble on Rosicky‘s return from injury and will not look for a new wide player, this is the same gamble that he took last January and it back-fired.
On a brighter note, Eduardo returned to training on Wednesday. The return of the little Croatian is a welcome sight, we have been in need of some good news and this is it.
The club have put a date on his return to first team duties, but a return could be pencilled in for either the Carling Cup quarter–final or the home tie against Portsmouth.
