Sunderland v Arsenal (Match Preview)
Arsenal travel to the Stadium of Light for what promises to be a tight and hard encounter. The Black Cats have invested heavily in the summer transforming their team, and any team that has Roy Keane associated with it will never crumble. Arsenal have had successful trips up to the Stadium of Light in recent years and they have also overcome their north-west fear. This should all bode well for Arsenal especially following their victory over Porto. But we must not assume anything with Arsenal this season,, Saturday could be an awayday delight or another horror story. One thing is for sure, another defeat and Arsenal will struggle to stay in the title race and it is only October. Wenger has few resources to change the team even if he wanted to. The strikers have attoned for their poor display of last Saturday, whilst the only defender who might come in Silvestre, but that will be making a change for changes.sake. Midfield is a problem for Arsene and you can see him getting more and more frustrated at the lack of options. The same midfield that started against Porto is the obvious, but Wenger will look to Eboue or more likely Song to add a but of steel in the middle. This means that either Walcott or Nasri will be on the bench. Arsenal need to be on top of their game and not be complacent otherwise it could be an unhappy trip to the north east.
