Debuts for New Boys

Amaury Bischoff and Mikael Silvestre will both make their first appearances in an Arsenal shirt tongiht as the reserves take on Stoke City. Whislt Silvestre is not a stranger to Arsenal fans, Bischoff is a new face to us.

The young midfielder arrived in the summer from Werder Bremen, and despite his French name, he is a Portgual under-21 international.

 Silvestre had a steady game, which is no surprise as he has nothing to prove.  Bischoff looked useful, but will he set the Premier League alight, no.  He will have to fight for his place if he can get one  in the first team.  Players like Randall and Ramsey shoud lbe given the same opportunities as Bischoff, who could turn out to be a Flamini signing, an eventual success or a Malz type player and never quite make it.
